Whoops

I am approaching the final week of my online History II class, and I am woefully behind. Honestly, I'll be scraping for a 'C', and that will be the worst grade I have earned since I flunked out at Virginia Tech. I never got below a 'B' at Defense Language Institute (3.3 GPA) and haven't yet gotten below a 'B' with eArmyU (3.something GPA).

*sigh*

On the other hand, the Philosophy I class... I'm still behind in, but at least I have five more weeks to do seven weeks of work. And the professor seems to have keyed in to what 'self-paced' actually means by Central Texas College standards. (He had previously given us a solid timeline, and that certainly doesn't fit the definition.)

I'll be scrambling, but at least I have a 24-hour duty coming up to help me out...

Don't kick yourself in the ass too much over the C.  Take it as a lesson learned, and press on.  You CAN and you WILL do better than that.

Hehehe...Dave always does better with his school stuff when I'm not around too.  He finished his degree when he was remote, mainly because he didn't have anything else to do.

Tech, eh?  What years did you go?

Thank you. Yes, as long as I get the 'C', I won't be crying over it. I'd better get that, though, or I'll be required to pay for the class.

I was there from Fall of '94 through Fall of '97. I was in the Cadet Corps for the first 2.5 years. Spring of '97 I withdrew, and then attempted the Fall semester where I finally full-out failed.

I'm doing much better now.

Yes you are! Just curious as my Ex flunked out, but that was back in the 70s.

that was back in the 70s.

I apologize, but the most important thing I did back in the 70s was to be born.

Yes you are!

Thanks.

I would say that was very important!  The rest would not have mattered if you did not achieve that feat!

Ouch. Well, that's a good motivator!
