That's not good enough.

Push-up event:
Prior test: 42
Goal: 52
This test: 55

Sit Up event:
Prior test:69
Goal: 70
This test: 69 (whoops)

2-mile Run event:
Prior test: 15:58
Fastest time ever: 15:34
Goal: 15:30
This test: 14:46

Yes, I'm bragging. That's an improvement of somewhere around 30 points on a 300 point scale.

"Just passing" is no longer good enough for me. "Meeting the standard" isn't personally satisfactory any more. I'm better than that.

I'd like to thank PO3 akulanka for setting a personal PT example, and 1LT Bring-Your-Kid-To-Work-Day for pacing me on the test.

Fastest run time ever. Go figure.

Good job....

I'm paying for it this morning. Light day at the pool for me...

Good job!

This may not be appropriate, but I'll brag for a second too. The best I remember doing in each event was 64 push-ups, 90 sit-ups, and a 15:34 run. That's a MAX in every category. Not bad for a GIRL! Of course I had no life, but hey, I was in great shape back then.

In the here & now, we're proud of you Pseudo! Keep it up!

No, I think it's appropriate. Matching my best time ever with your best time ever, my male scale to your female scale... I think that earns you the right.

We have a female SGT in our unit that is *very* close to maxing the male scale for her age. So of course they pull her out of her college class to give her an award for it...

you know, i bet you really inspired a lot of people. now that i'm out, i really do miss the pt, and like good ol' spc n.s. said, i tried to do like 10 pushups in a row and almost died the other day. i'm bent on at least being able to pass the female pt test, though. wow. you rock. what are your next goals?

Great job! I don't miss the PT at 0630, but I do confess, that I REALLy enjoyed smoking the hell out of people. Ahhhh, the good old days. I always seemed to do better when I was making some guy cry.....can't imagine why!

Ouch. Okay, some guy is crying again. Something to shoot for, I suppose...

what are your next goals?

You're right, I really ought to have definite goals. Right now, they're as vague as "don't backslide and continue pressing onward." Acting Platoon Sergeant duty is severely getting in the way of my PT right now, though. Still push-ups and crunches at home, at least.
