My second online course
Published on January 11, 2005 By pseudosoldier In Personal Computing
Integrated Software Applications I - a four credit hour, eight week, self-paced online course offered by Central Texas College via the eArmyU program.

I don't truly have to pay for these courses (the army provides nearly all costs for eArmyU if you qualify, including this not-so-nifty laptop I'm typing on now), except for the fact that I'm in my seventh year of service. But I'm well on my way to one Associate's Degree, and half-way towards another. So, on I press.

I won't make any promises like I did with my previous course; I was terrible about doing my homework at all, and posting it here on JoeU took possibly more time than taking the quizzes or writing the essay responses. And then there was my abortive attempt at a final paper. No, I think I'll save efforts like that for my next class: American Government II, which starts just as this class ends.

Good luck with your classes, pseudosoldier. Enjoy your crappy laptop.

Work hard, get that degree or two. And a not-so-nifty laptop is better then no laptop at all

Thanks for the support.

I do appreciate the laptop, but I almost wish that I hadn't gotten it. It's part of the eArmyU program and, as such, was covered under my tuition assistance. But I need to finish three more courses by mid-year in order to not have to pay for it... and the price is such that it's definitely not the laptop I would've purchased at that cost.

One day at a time...just a little effort will pay off. You'll be glad you did. Courage!

Hopefully this class will be a bit better for you. My memory has gotten extremely bad over the past year or so, so I cant remember if you enjoyed the last one. Anyhoo.......talk to you later and I still need your number for when I go out there. So, I am going to email you in the next couple of days at that mil address. Tell everyone I said hi except for Monroe. I hate him.

That'll work. Or use my screen name here + @hotmail.com. Or my first.last@gmail.com.

Tell everyone I said hi except for Monroe. I hate him.

*chuckle* I don't know him that well, but I don't hate him. Even his friends have described him as a "bitter, bitter man," however.

Dude, he called me a dirtbag. And not only that, but he told that to my old Soldiers....that really pissed me off. The guy doesnt even know me from the next chick and he calls me this. Asshat. But yeah...thats my vendetta against him. I will email you later today. Ciao.

Sounds like a pretty uninformed opinion. Personally, I tell everyone how cool you are... and when you came up in conversation today, I told Cochese that you were "not unattractive." (We were talking about the dangers of posting your personal information on chat programs, and some minor experiences you had that greywar had relayed.)

I do not hold your grudge against him against you.

Well, thank you for:
1. Not holding anything against me. I went to BNCOC with his buddies so I know how many article 15s he got in Korea (I am not disclosing that by the way just to be nice). SSG Monroe: X SSG EL: 0....hmmm...
2. Aww!! I came up in conversation? Y'all remember me!!! That makes me feel good and thanks for saying that I am "not unattractive". You may change your mind when I get there though to see you. I put on some winter weight and am trying to DESPERATELY lose it.
3. Thanks for being so awesome. YOU ROCK!!!

put on some winter weight

I put on some winter weight, too. Last winter.

Dude, you'd still be a "not unattractive" person even after a tragic and terribly disfiguring car accident (ghod fhorbid).

3. *blush*
