I should pay more attention. Here I was thinking I was keeping up with my friends' web-sites when I stumbled upon this: Link

From Link, those of you who read it know who this man was to me. I had no idea that he was being included in this documentary. There are pictures of his wife and parents on that site that I linked to up top, but try not to eat up all the bandwidth, and keep in mind what they've gone through if you go to gawk. Even I feel guilty about my voyuerism.

For those of you too lazy to click through, 2LT Leonard Cowherd is featured in the documentary "Last Letters Home," produced by HBO in association with Time Life books. An excerpt from the press release:

'Second Lieutenant Leonard Cowherd to his wife Sarah: “Some of these guys out here, Sarah, they are just kids. If you saw them walking down the street, you would think they belong in the arcade at a movie theatre, hanging out with their friends, getting in trouble, doing stuff kids do – not putting their lives on the line, every second of every day.” '

Something to go on my Christmas list, then.

Thanks for sharing this, pseudosoldier. I think I saw something about it somewhere (Army Times, maybe?), and it's on my list as well.
