CB jumps back on the blogwagon, but not entirely. He claims that he will no longer be writing actively about his personal experiences in Iraq, because he does not want to subject himself to censorship. Personally, I feel that being bullied into keeping your yap shut for fear of being told specifically to keep your yap shut pretty much qualifies as censorship anyway, but if it makes him feel better...
He also reposted some of his older stuff, to which he refers as his "Best Of" album. The most glaring oversight (and I'm certain this was intentional) is the exclusion of the Men in Black post, which is even referenced in some of the other posts that he has up. Obviously, that post was the most controversial to the command, as it may have skirted the OPSEC line.
Also obviously, CB is still trying to stick it to them a little (by including the articles that reference it).
I wish CB good luck with his continued blogging. I will still tune in, but I know that it won't give me the insights into the real story that I had previously gleaned from his narrations. I wonder if he knows how it impacted us at work that week...

(Again, if anyone has the MIB story saved, please let me know, as I'd still like to get ahold of it.)

I remember that post, CB was saying that the men in black were Al Qaida and that they came in from Iran. Probably the type of thing they want to keep a lid on. The impending war with Iran for harboring Al Qaida and developing nukes.

It is good to see him back. Hopefully he is still writing about everything and just saving it for when he can safely publish it later. Doesn't really help right now, but if he does put out a book when he gets back, I'll buy it.

ah yes, because we would all hate for anyone to think that perhaps there is a network of international (yes I know it's a extreme minority) Islamic terrorists out there moving from country to country conducting hostilities.....oh, wait, what's that al qaida thing again?

No, but we might hate for them to think that we know more about them than we want them to know. You know?
Say, that we know enough about them that a relatively low-ranking Commanding Officer might identify them to his entire unit? (Or, on the flip side, that the commander shouldn't've done that, and someone may have dimed him out on the 'net... great, now that's my paranoid theory.)

I didn't look at the comments on his blog too much, but from the few times I did, I would say that if anything on his blog was an OPSEC problem, it was some of the questions and answers that others posted in the comments rather than the articles themselves. It's nice to have him back in some capacity, though.

That seems like a pretty fair statement, milady. While he did mention that his BC had told them all about the "Men In Black," it was in the comments that we learned they were really... What? I can't? Are you sure? Oh, alright.
