Up and Running

I don't know if anyone has checked out his site yet (you should have), but SGT Hook (linked on the right) had recently lost his website hosting. Apparently, he got back up this weekend, and will be blogging again.
SGT Hook is inactuality the 1SG of a US Army Aviation Maintenance Company: he's in charge of a bunch of guys who work on helicopters and keep them in working order. He blogs a fair bit, which is great, as he is currently in Afghanistan, having deployed there from Hawaii with his unit. He talks about some of his troops, the conditions in the 'Stan, his family and how he deals with the separation, and a pet project called Operation Shoe Fly (which has its own web-page here: Link ). Check it out when you get a chance (although the content on his own page will have to be rebuilt slowly, I'm certain).

That was short lived. I hadn't checked it out before, but I just tried and the site seems to be down again, as I got this message - There is no website configured at this address.

I'll try again later.

I don't know why, but I'm still getting the no page message.

Well, it's still working for me... I suppose it's not a huge loss right now, as all his content is still, well, not there. I don't know if he'll be transferring his old stuff, or just working off the new. Guess I should've plugged his site before now...

That's really odd... I can get to the site on my work computer but can't get it at home. What's up with that? Oh, well, just one more distraction to keep me from concentrating on retranscribing all the KORACC number drills...

Well, he has some content now. Hopefully, he'll go back and "reprint" some earlier installments of the stories of "Jaf."
