My classwork and my homecoming
Published on June 14, 2004 By pseudosoldier In Life Journals
While it wouldn't seem so based on how much time I've spent on JU, I've been away from home for about a month-and-a-half now. I returned this past weekend, tho, to some (IMO) well-deserved leave, but I know that it's a working vacation.
The American Government class that I've been taking self-paced and online ends this Friday. The instructor has agreed to give me an "Incomplete" for my grade, and I'll have 120 days to make up the missed work. Incidentally, this is actually longer than the class was scheduled for. However, in order to hold up my end of the agreement, I need to finish the classwork (and maybe one of the tests) before Friday. This, coupled with the fact that my squad leader, Cochise Jones, needs me to do paperwork, and my spouse is pressuring me into going away for the weekend, all means that I'll be very very busy this week... but at least I'm not at work, right?
