3 general seating tickets: $33 (with the military discount, I saved $21 by picking them up on Base)
box of popcorn and two snowcones in commemorative white tiger cups: $26
two souvenier toys (a spinning light-up elephant that my son is currently flogging himself with and a stuffed white tiger with baby white tiger): $43

There weren't even any white tigers in the show, but try using logic on a 4-year-old.

There was an elephant; they did a routine where a circus child laid down in bed with a stuffed elephant and "dreamed" of the elephant act. Then she woke up and saw that the elephant was real. I thought it was cute and sweet; my boys were paying more attention to the popcorn.

They did like the dogs-catching-frisbees act. My youngest also enjoyed an elaborate clown sketch using a fake baby. "Do the baby one again!" is a sure sign he enjoyed it.

So, $102. Yikes.

But, all in all, a good time.

If anything, it sounded like you and the boys had a good time together and thats all that matters. I know your boys adore you and it wouldnt matter if you took them to a flea circus- they would enjoy it no matter what.

I gather you are on leave this week. I am taking leave for a couple of days at the end of the month and I so need to. You should email me sometime. Or call .....or heck I shoud call you at work. We both have DSN lines...we are both in the same BN........it all makes sense now. BLUF (at the end actually......) I miss you.

Thanks very much for the kind words. Yeah, the kids seem to like me pretty well.

I took leave this week for their Spring Break. I thought it would be a waste to have them all week but put them in daycare. Besides, even after these 5 days I have Use/Lose for this fiscal year.

Calling me at work really won't work; I'm almost always in another building teaching, rarely in the office. I go to the field exercise with my current batch next week, graduate them the week after (the day after my NCO of the Quarter boards) and I'm teaching... two weeks after that, I think.

No rest for the wicked.

And I miss you (and your worse half), too.

At least you didn't waste the cash on a 2nd rate circus. you went to the coolest one for kids.
You know just hanging out with Dad is the important part.

Thanks, Geez. I think they're getting sick of me now, though.

That's great they had a great time. I'm sure you know the memories will be forever with them, and priceless!

LOL. I think your kids and my kids would get along well.

Glad you and your boys had a good time at the circus. We've never been. For some reason circuses sound scary to me.
