The "big special" thing I'm doing with the kids this week (besides spending every waking moment with them) is taking them to the circus tonight. Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey presents "Upside-Down World."

The boys are a bit ambivalent about whether they want to go or not. I know they will enjoy it, but sometimes when I ask them to leave the apartment they protest. Seems that, given a choice, they'd often rather sit around here, playing XBox, playing board games and watching TV. So, I work on forcing them out for their own good.

Tomorrow we'll go to Mr. Gatti's pizza. Friday is going to be a movie night (with shrimp and fish sticks, since it's Lent). I still need to figure out what we're doing this weekend; I may offer to bring them back early so she can have time with them. (That would also offer me some time to go play HeroClix and attend a St. Patty's Day party, but honestly I'd rather hang out with my kids.)

Here's hoping we enjoy the circus!
