Murderball

Listed in the Documentary section.

Recommended because I liked: Memento and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Description: Rugby-playing quadriplegics compete for the Paralympic gold medal in this documentary about an amazing sport and the strong-willed athletes who play full-contact rugby using specially designed wheelchairs. The film follows the U.S. Quad Rugby Team as they compete in the 2002 World Championships and the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens. Murderball won the 2005 Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival.

My response: I may actually rent this one! Still doesn't change the fact that I have 195 movies in my queue...

Wow! I have not tried Netflix yet. They've been sending me mail to join up and I'm thinking about it!

They're talking about adding a certain amount of livestream movies to their memberships. If they ever do that I'll sign up so that I can take in movies at work. Pretty cool deal, if you ask me.

If I remember, I'll check on this for you. I think it already went live with a dozen or so movies. I haven't looked at it closely because my laptop is such a piece of junk that I'd worry that I wouldn't get the whole movie.
