pseudosoldier: Write more. Add lots of blogs about your kiddos and about stupid and/or interesting things that happen at work. Maybe toss in some relationship musings.

My sons are awesome. Since Christmas, they have been playing through Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (pseudo jr sometimes refers to it by its full title) almost NON-STOP, at Gram and Grandpa's house, at their Momma's house and at Daddy's place. On the way back from Virginia (we drove from and to Texas), the boys pretended to be Lego Star Wars characters while they were at a McDonald's McPlayground, blowing things up and collecting the Lego studs left behind (because you need to collect a certain amount to get "True Jedi" status in each level in order to unlock everything).

This past weekend was pseudo jr's birthday weekend (but not his actual birthday). And at the end of it, I still had to give him back to my ex's boyfriend.

That's something I still don't deal well with.

Work: It's not entirely appropriate to tell stories on my students, as they are in Initial Entry Training and I'm IET cadre. Here's one, though: this one student misheard MSIEIN as MKSIKIIN! AH hahahahahahaha. Ha.

Or not.

I have no romantic relationships. I now list my occupation as "warrior monk."

You get an A+ on your assignment.

TW handed out the assignments and I am grading them.  Teachers aide and all that.

Seriously, I am sorry you have to give your kids over to your ex's boyfriend.  That must totally suck.  Is he a nice guy at all?

And, to finally let you in on the joke:

MSIEIN = evil-doers, the pernicious

MKSIKIIN = Mexicans
