My online class began in early December and is slated for 8 weeks, so it's half over. I discovered, when I arrived at my parents' house, that the free internet connection that the military program I am involved with provides was unavailable to me, possibly due to password/userID issues. My attempts to contact them were met with much resistance, as the Helpdesk personnel seemed to intentionally misinterpret my requests for assistance.

Additionally, I had some initial trouble installing required software for the course so I contacted the instructor. I didn't do this by email because the syllabus directed the students to utilize the internet forum interface instead. However, my instructor has yet to return my message, nearly a month later. I plan on emailing him, but it begins to sound more and more like excuses as the circumstances pile up.

Time to cram 8 weeks of work into 4 weeks. Again.

Oh, and the Army has finally decided to recoup the tuition for the class I dropped late during the end of 2005. Whee.

Yeah on the refund!

It never fails that the help desk will not be very helpful! Good luck with studying!

Actually, they are recouping the money from me, so...

It's actually pretty good motivation to get this class done (since I'd owe about $700 more if I dropped this one).
