Cigarettes=Nair?

The latest truth.org commercial concentrates on Sodium Hydroxide. "It's in hair removal products and cigarettes! That means cigarettes are bad for you!"

Assclowns, WATER is also an ingredient in Nair! Just because it's part of something that is harmful to you doesn't mean that particular thing is harmful to you.

Sodium Hydroxide is also more commonly known as lye, which is also used in the preparation of some foods. Are olives as bad for you as cigarettes? Is hominy? By your backasswards reasoning, they must be!

People know that cigarettes are bad for you. You don't need to misrepresent the TRUTH by implying that hair removal chemicals are contained within cigarettes.

Those truth.org commercials are so far from the truth someone really should sue them. The only reason they get away with their misinformation campaign is because it's so damned PC.

NaOH...sodium hyrdoxide...yummy. It's bad stuff if it's pure...I've been working with it for a few years now(as well as some pretty nasty acids and other bases)...gotta love chemistry.
