That's the name of a store here in the bustling metropolis of San Angelo, TX. And it's run by some of the hippiest hippies I've seen in awhile.

I don't really mean that in a derogatory way, not really. They remind me of some of my friends from high school, actually. The owner is normal enough, although very enthuasiastic about having a new customer. His wife (?) was at the register and his two kids were messing around in the back.

The two guys who put my sandwich together were pretty... yeah. The one guy reminded me of Kyle Busey's character from PCU (yea, the hippy), but his hair was more red. The other guy looked like a pretty normal college student... and baked out of his frickin' mind. He had that grin, y'know? And he helped himself to one of the sesame seed chips that they were putting into my to-go box.

I bought a turkey, avacado and sprout sandwich on very whole wheat bread (which came with chips apparently made out of pressed sesame seeds), a pound of ground buffalo, a jar of organic peanut butter and a jar of organic tahini paste (in case I want to make hummus). Came out to under $20.

I passed on the half-pound of ostrich they had there, since it was somewhere near $10/lb. Maybe next time.

I'm having bison stew tomorrow, either in celebration of passing my PT test and weigh-in or in consolation for failing one or the other.

I really enjoy grass fed bison. Tasty and doesn't weigh you down.

I love hummus, especially with grilled veggies! Got any really good mixture recipes?

I am so insanely frickin' jealous.

And that's not sarcasm, tahini's a bitch to get.

Damn straight. And hummus isn't the same when you have to sub in peanut butter.
