2.5 mile light jog this morning.
25 pushups after lunch.
EVERYTHING HURTS! (Well, my legs and my triceps at least.) And I racked out for 4 hours on the couch (1900-2300) before I had the second dinner and water. I'll be up for an hour or two now and then back down for the night before the gym in the morning.

I know that if I want to switch into "growth mode" I'll need to go lift more and eat more protein, as much as 1g of protein per day per pound of body weight. I'm going to shed a bunch more weight before I do that... but 200+g of protein a day sounds insane. That's something I'd really have to plan for; right now I just plan for calories and make sure that I'm eating the right things (in a general sense, anyway) to ensure the other counts will be okay.

This is the first time I've actually looked at the dietary information for an avocado. I "knew" it was high in fat (I had read that multiple times) and, regardless of the fact that it is "the good fat," it's still an insanely high amount. I cringe at the thought that I've eaten an entire bowl of guacamole from two avocados with chips in one sitting, in the past.

If I keep up the sub-1800 calorie days in the near future, I should really keep taking the weight off. We'll see how the upcoming "Daddy weekend" impacts me this time, especially since it will telegraph how I might do this summer when I have the boys for 6 weeks.
